Nov-Dec '25

Happy New Year one and all! I write this on New Year’s Day, looking forward to even MORE cooking for the year 2026.

But before I get there, I wanted to look back at the past month and change and drop a few bits of heat.

We begin with a couple pics from an event that friend of the journey Shari hosted with a couple other grassroots outfits. There was the customary Ludi, Chess, PlayStation 2 games & a talk to finish.

& I covered absolutely none of that because I was socialising. Get off me.

Next and more substantially was a trip that meant a lot to me. It made my year. I’ve already hard launched elsewhere but for the Photography journey, here it is.

For those that remember, this is Tish. She came through last year as part of a little solo Euro trip she had. But after that day out, something felt different and I after a month I ended up vocalising it.

And since March '25, we've been a couple.

She adamantly wanted to visit before the year ended and on the last week of November, she made it.

But not after he Eurotunnel train was held up by nearly an hour. Which gave me some time to kill.

But she eventually arrived and we enjoyed our time together. I didn’t take many photos out of wanting to be present but we got a couple.

This trip also included another friend of the journey in Ryan who we linked up with a couple of times for food. (Shouts to Ryan’s friend Kelvin who tagged along with us for one of the meals.)

Finally was a trip to Hoxton for a little link up hosted by The Black Writer’s Guild. I didn’t get good shots in Odyssey Hoxton because of lack of light but I paid £11 for an Old Fashioned so that’s great…

I had pictures before and after tho!

And from a Photography point of view, that was the end of my year!

Thanks to everyone that has looked at my work over this past year. I looked at the stats for this past year and I had nearly 50,000 visitors on my Photography. That’s a far cry from any of my other work, so I really appreciate you all.

Can’t wait to keep cooking and evolving as a Photographer and storyteller. Until the next time, have a great 2026.
