Recipes – Part 23

So this recipe is actually one I have had in my rotation for over a year now!

Whilst this post will be a very short one, I have already published photos with this recipe several times over.

You can find some in:

Part One of The 50 Pack

Part Two of The 50 Pack

Part Three of The 50 Pack

& Home Radio @ Reference Point

This recipe in particular is also similar to the Cinestill 800T Recipe Test I did a while back; I wanted to try another version and found this one via Piotr Skrzypek. I've used it sparingly but found a few moments to use it exclusively recently so if I don't do this post now I never will!

With that said, let's jump into the set!

Tower Bridge @ Night

I really want to get good at Night Photography. Pictures like the ones above always have this inherent potential in them. It takes a little more work when editing but the results are too nice.

Photography is obviously a more day time thing so it’s nice to switch it up.

A kind of “Street/Night” example here as I was waiting for a train home. Definitely could’ve been framed better but that’s the game. And there’s a reason I call these Recipe TESTS.

This bunch was from one night walking home from D’s place, capturing pretty much anything that was emitting light at that point. I especially love how corner shops are illuminated – the blues are right up my alley – and the purposeful blurring for certain lights bring an interesting change of pace in my opinion.

The final photo I’ll leave you with is D, Helmer and Chelsea (another Uni friend of D’s) leaving a local Co-op.

Overall, I love pretty much any recipe deemed for Night Photography. Like I said before, I’ve had this one for a year in change and I don’t see it leaving my rotation for those odd moments I’m out with my camera at night.

So expect the occasional appearance of this beautiful Blue/Teal shade in more substantial future posts.
