The photography journey in 2026 begins!
We kick off the year with a UK Jazz group that has been around for over a decade and a support that impressed me on first listen.
But first, a brief look at The 100 Club.
These were just some test shots to get my camera ready for proceedings. I have been to The 100 Club once before late last year for The Allergies.
As you will see, they love the colour red, which is not great for me since my camera isn’t the biggest fan of strong reds, but we make it work!
Let’s begin in earnest with the support: Kotoa, in colour.
And now for monochrome!
New fan of Kotoa for sure. They did a couple of Roots Reggae tracks which contrasted so well with the rest of the performance. Really good chemistry as a group. They dropped an EP last year so it was a decent time to catch them!
Now lets get into the main event: Ruby Rushton.
I would typically go from member to member but I’ve been under the crunch time-wise to get this out so I’m packaging everything into one. I might come back around and give them shine at a later date.
But for now, we finish with a bumper set of monochrome.
