Back-to-back Recipe Tests! Love to see it.
This one is Documentary Monochrome by Kevin Mullins. He has a great set of recipes but this one drew me in. I'm always on the lookout to try new recipes that aren't on FujiXWeekly because there are other people creating great looks. Hell, I've spent nearly a year crafting one for myself! I don't know how people do it!
Anyways, this was one I tested for a few months in decent weather in the days I shot.
Let's begin in Mile End where I took a few shots before & after a screening.
The night was incredibly hazy so I thought why not see what the recipe can do in this type of environment.
You let me know if these are hitting or not.
Next was another couple of LDN outings, chiefly on the day of the Common Saints show!
The last set was all from one day where I tripped to Central London for an exhibition and then bolted to North London for a social walk!
Now I replaced the Ilford XP2 Super 400 recipe with this and I will probably go back to it. I do like this recipe don't get me wrong but the XP2S400 has a character I love.
The other slot is my default B&W at this point which is the Ilford HP5 Plus.
With that said, this is a great recipe I would happily spend another day with!
