It’s been a while. Shouldn’t have left you without a dope set of Photography TINGS to step to…
With a pretty unremarkable January already passing by, February kicks my new Photography chapter off with a Photo Pass at the storied Hootananny Brixton (Hoots for brevity from now on.) to capture a proper UK Hip-Hop showcase with a relentless night of acts.
I arrive with things already underway, beginning with Harvs Le Toad with Saxophonist BNMO & rappers Karl Sage and Kemastry.
Next was solo artist Renelle 893 who was my MVP of the night. Great voice, fun personality and great bars. Probably my favourite set if I had to pick an artist.
Next up was a duo I have been enjoying for a few years now and was the one I was anticipating the most coming into the night: Verbz & Mr. Slipz.
Shouts to the duo who I linked up with after in the Green Room (1st time being in one, vibes!) and got a solid portrait of them.
But we finish up with the headlining act: Pitch 92 & Sparkz.
Thanks to Pitch 92 for putting me onto the event just days before. This was a great start to my '25 in Photography, already got a few shots I want in my end of year book!
