There was a time where I would visit The Jazz Café once a month on average. It's seemed like an age since my last visit but it was only since February!
I've talked many a time about how much love this place as a music lover and a Photographer.
As a music lover, it's perfectly intimate, the acts they get onto that stage are regularly up my alley. As a photographer, the lighting in that place create an aesthetic that I haven't seen replicated anywhere else.
And for the latter, you will get what I mean. We make it right on time for the support act of the night: Nicole Miglis.
And before we get to Jamila. One time for the three piece band behind her.
But we swiftly get to Jamila Woods and boy did I get some photos. Firstly, the Monochrome.
And for the first time in a while, I heavily favour the colour set. There are some All-Time favourites in here. Buckle up.
BUT I’M NOT DONE.
There were two lighting moments that were so good that I ended up having several, so I thought I would give them their own moment!
The first is Blue. A whole lotta Blue.
And the 2nd is a perfect blend of Red & Green, with the Green creating some of my favourites…
Now… We are done. Thanks for getting this far, thanks to Jamila Woods' Management for giving me the opportunity.
