Jaydonclover’s

Listening

Party

Date Taken: 17th October 2025

Sometimes gassing work over on "Diggin' In The Digits" gets you places!

A few weeks ago on the Pod, as part of my Weekly Music Roundup, I talked about the new album from Birmingham native (but has jumped from London to Amsterdam in recent years) Jaydonclover named "a constant state of blue".

After that, she posted a clip of me talking about it and we got to a couple DMs back and forth.

I end up being invited to G-SHOCK Carnaby St. for a private listening of her new album along with some breaking down of the music between a few tracks.

This was the first time being at G-SHOCK Carnaby St. Upon entry you are treated to, well, a hell of a lot of watches and pictures of Central Cee wearing them.

They’ve never been my thing. Watches in general I’ve never really cared about. Anyway, we are led downstairs to this intimate space fit for maybe 40 people. The drinks: Peach flavoured Beer and a couple blue cocktails.

On the far side wall, a fascinating flow chart asking people general questions about relationships. At the end of each line was one of her tracks. I got “Isn’t It Funny” which just so happens to be my favourite track!

After talking music with a couple people, it was time to get into things!

I was enjoying where I was at but of course D had to prank call me so after going upstairs to deal with that, I came back down with a further distance from the action but the tunes were flowing and people were loving it. The aforementioned “Isn’t It Funny” – which is a very short number where she gets into her Musical Theatre bag – got a wheel up!

That’s impeccable taste.

After the project was ran through, a nice vegan cake came out and was being cut for everyone that wanted a slice.

After congratulating Jaydonclover on the successful event, she had me take a slice of cake home. Whilst I’m not a fan of blueberries, everything else about it was solid! Vegan cakes, keep 'em coming!
