So I was chilling with a friend the other day. We were down the seafront, on the way to an event in town.
It was close to sunset and I was taking a couple of photos on my phone, realising that I had taken photos of this nature before.
And then the penny dropped. I forgot about my 365 Challenge!

For those that don't know, the 365 Challenge is simply one of those things you start – typically at the beginning of the year – to force a routine. In this case, it was for me to take a photo everyday.
When it comes to "forcing" creativity such as the 365 Challenge, it can be really easy to get discouraged because most of the time, they're boo boo. But that's not the point, right?
Because every time you hit that shutter, type that word, record your vocals, you get just that little bit better, even if it doesn't look or feel it at that moment. I mean, that's my personal belief. And I have to believe that because I do all three concurrently.

Anyway, within all that philosophy, the challenge inadvertently planted the seed that became this site! Within all the boo boo, it ended up telling me that I got some decent stuff. It gave me the confidence to get this going.
So while I stopped the 365 Challenge just before April came around, it was so this could become what it is.
Now, for the main course. You’ve seen a couple of random photos I liked, now here’s the collection of photos that I was thinking of the other day, when I was down the seafront.
I had an appointment in town and because of the Challenge, took my camera with me. For those that don't know, I love me a sunset, to the point where I could put it on a dating profile and it'd not be ironic.
I knew that I’d be able to get some sunset pictures after my appointment. So, I walked down to the seafront and there she was… Golden Hour:
There’s nothing better…
