Wouldn’t be a true foray into Agfa vibes if I didn’t get a Black & White version popping!
This was directly taken along with my Optima 200 post, so peep that one if you’re more of a colour person.
So Scala was a unique film. In Film Photography, B&Ws are usually “negative” films whilst colour films were “reversal” films.
Scala, was reversal!
Have to love a contrarian eh. As you can imagine, it was a bit of a marmite film, you either loved or hated it. And as a recipe, I love it. As I do most Black & White recipes.
Before I get into the meat, I got flicks of another friend for the catalogue. This is Ryan.
I will be honest, I wished I did those in colour. The coat he was rocking was fresh and deserved colour, but I like these nonetheless; these are my favourite types of photos next to golden hour silhouettes.
